The Craft
Composed One Shell at a Time
Scallops, murex, cowries, sea urchins, coral, and mother of pearl, gathered and graded by hand, then set piece by piece until the composition feels inevitable.
There is no pattern to follow. Each shell is chosen for its tone and curve, placed against its neighbors, and adjusted until the whole frame reads as one gesture. It is slow, deliberate work, and it is why no two pieces can ever be alike.

Kim Delaney is an artist and interior designer with more than twenty-five years of experience in fine interiors. Inspired by the quiet beauty of the sea, she composes each mirror and object shell by shell, layering natural scallops, coral, pearls, and mother of pearl into one-of-a-kind pieces that feel at home in collected, sunlit rooms.
